Wellness Counseling, PLLC.

Telehealth Counseling Services

I believe everyone deserves access to real, meaningful mental health support—no matter where you live in North Carolina. Whether you’re in Winston-Salem, Charlotte, Raleigh, Asheville, or anywhere in between, I provide confidential telehealth counseling from wherever you feel most comfortable.

How Can I Help

You don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out. Whether you know exactly what you’re struggling with or you just know something needs to change—I’m here.
I know reaching out to a therapist can feel like a big deal. There’s no pressure here and no judgment. You don’t have to show up with all the answers or have your life perfectly together before we start. You just have to show up.

I’ve been working with people across North Carolina since 2007. I’ve helped people through anxiety that won’t quit, depression that makes everything feel heavy, trauma they’ve been carrying for years, chronic pain and illness that’s affecting their mental health, relationship struggles, major life transitions, and just about everything in between.

The work we do together is going to look different for everyone because you’re not everyone—you’re you. Some people need help calming down an overwhelmed nervous system. Some people need to process things they’ve never said out loud. Some people just need someone who gets it and won’t judge them for where they’re at right now.

Whatever you’re carrying, we’ll figure out together what actually helps. That’s what I’m here for.

Anxiety & Depression

Are you really good at burying feelings, only to find them surprisingly unleashed when you least expect it? Maybe the worry never stops, or you’ve just stopped feeling like yourself and can’t remember when that changed.

You’re not broken. I’ve been helping people in North Carolina manage anxiety and depression for years—and together we’ll figure out what’s driving it, calm your system down, and build tools that actually work in your real life.

Anxiety and depression can make even the simplest things feel impossible—getting out of bed, answering a text, making it through a workday without feeling completely overwhelmed. You don’t have to keep white-knuckling your way through it. Through an eclectic blend of interventions and some body-based calming tools, including EMDR, we’ll work together to figure out what’s actually setting it off, quiet the noise, and help you start feeling like yourself again.

Here’s what I’ve learned after years of doing this work: anxiety and depression rarely look the same from person to person. For some people it’s the constant loop of worry that just won’t shut off. For others it’s more like a fog — going through the motions, not feeling connected to much of anything. Sometimes it’s both at the same time, which is exhausting in a way that’s really hard to explain to people who haven’t been there. We’ll figure out which one we’re actually dealing with, because treating the symptom without understanding what’s feeding it only gets you so far.

Some sessions we dig in deep, some sessions we just focus on getting you through the week — either way, we go at your pace.

You don’t have to feel better before you reach out. You just have to be willing to try.

Trauma & Abuse

Healing from trauma is some of the bravest work a person can do. If you’re trying to figure out who you are after leaving an abusive relationship, or just learning what safe and healthy love actually feels like, I want you to know: you’re not alone and you’re not stuck.

This is my niche. Working with survivors and trauma is where my heart is. I’ve been doing trauma work since 2007 and I use approaches specifically designed to help your brain and body process what happened—including EMDR, which can help when talking about it feels too hard or when you’ve talked about it a million times but it still feels stuck.

We’ll go at your pace. Some days that means doing deep work. Some days that means just checking in and making sure you’re okay. Some days that means learning how to trust yourself again or set boundaries that actually stick.

Whether you’re just beginning to process what happened or you’re further along in your healing, telehealth therapy in North Carolina gives you a space to work through it without judgment. Together we’ll build real coping tools, rebuild your sense of self, and start figuring out what healthy actually looks and feels like for you.

You don’t have to have it all together to start. You just have to be ready to try.

Therapists Need Therapy Too

You spend your days holding space for everyone else — and then you go home and try to hold it together yourself. You know all the skills. You teach them. You believe in them. And yet here you are, struggling to use them on your own stuff, which is its own special kind of frustrating.

I get it. Working with other therapists and helping professionals is something I genuinely love doing. There’s no need to translate what you do or explain the lingo — we can just get right to it.

What I’ve found is that therapists often make the hardest clients — not because anything is wrong with them, but because the self-awareness that makes you great at your job can also make it really easy to stay in your head and analyze instead of actually feel. We’ll work on that together.

You deserve the same quality of care you give to your clients every single day. Reaching out isn’t a weakness — it’s actually very on brand for someone who believes in this work as much as you do.

Chronic Pain & Illness

Living with chronic pain or illness is hard enough on its own. When anxiety and depression start layering on top of it, everything gets heavier and harder to carry. If you’re struggling to adjust to your new reality and wondering how you’re going to adapt—I hear you.

Maybe you’re dealing with a new diagnosis that changed everything. Maybe you’ve been living with this for years and you’re just exhausted. Maybe you’re frustrated because no one seems to understand that just because you look fine doesn’t mean you feel fine.

The mind and body are more connected than most people realize. Pain affects your mood. Stress makes pain worse. Anxiety about what your body is going to do today can make it harder to even leave the house. And the emotional side of chronic illness is just as real as the physical side—you’re allowed to grieve the life you had before and still find a way forward.

Through telehealth counseling across North Carolina, we’ll work on the emotional weight of what you’re carrying. Using CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness tools that actually fit into your real life, we’ll find ways to help you feel lighter, more in control, and more like yourself again.

Your mental health matters just as much as your physical health. Let’s work on both.

Women’s Issues

Sometimes life pulls you so far in every direction that you lose track of who you actually are. Whether you’re dealing with self-worth, relationships, boundaries, life transitions, or just feeling completely burned out and running on empty—this is a space just for you.

Women carry a lot. And a lot of the time we carry it quietly, convincing ourselves we should be able to handle it. We put everyone else first, we push through, and somewhere along the way we just stop checking in with ourselves. You don’t have to keep doing that.

I work specifically with women across North Carolina who are ready to stop just surviving and start feeling like themselves again. Through telehealth counseling you can access support from wherever you are—your home, your car, your lunch break. We’ll figure out what you actually need, work on setting boundaries that stick without the guilt, and help you reconnect with who you are outside of what everyone else needs from you.

Stress Management

When everything piles up at once—work, family, health, relationships—it stops being just stress and starts affecting everything. Your sleep. Your patience. Your relationships. Your ability to just get through the day without feeling like you’re constantly running behind or forgetting something important.

Maybe you’re waking up already anxious about the day. Maybe you’re snapping at people you love. Maybe you can’t remember the last time you felt calm or the last time you did something just because you wanted to. Maybe you’re so busy taking care of everyone else that you forgot to take care of yourself.

If you’re there right now, I get it. Feeling this overwhelmed doesn’t mean you’re failing—it means you’ve been trying to carry too much without enough support for way too long.
Through telehealth counseling across North Carolina, we’ll figure out together what’s actually driving it and what genuinely helps YOU come back to yourself. Not a generic list of self-care tips you’ve already googled. A real plan that fits your actual life. We’ll work on saying no without feeling guilty, identifying what you can actually control and letting go of what you can’t, and building coping tools that work when things get hard—not just when life is calm.

You don’t have to keep running on empty. Let’s figure out what you actually need.

Any Device

Secure & Private

All of NC

All you need is a device with a camera and microphone—a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop—and a stable internet connection. That’s it. No special software, no complicated setup.

I’m based in Winston-Salem but work with clients all across North Carolina—including Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, Durham, Fayetteville, Asheville, Wilmington, Greenville, and everywhere in between. If you’re in NC, we can work together.

Why Wellness Counseling, PLLC?

There are a lot of options out there for online therapy right now. Apps, platforms, directories—it can feel overwhelming trying to figure out who to trust with something this personal.

Here’s what makes Wellness Counseling different. When you work with me you get one licensed therapist who knows your name, remembers your story, and actually shows up for you every single session. Not a rotating roster of whoever is available that week. Not an app. Me.

I’ve been a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina since 2007 and I accept BCBS NC, Cigna, and select Aetna plans. For those without insurance sliding scale options are available through Open Path because cost should never be the reason someone doesn’t get the help they need.

If you’ve scheduled with me and are concrened and unsure if you’ve chosen the right therapist? No pressure, no commitment—just a real conversation to make sure we’re a good fit. Because finding the right therapist matters, and I want you to feel confident before you ever book that first session.

Every client gets a plan built around their actual life. What you’re dealing with, what your schedule looks like, what’s worked before and what hasn’t. We figure it out together.
